| Description: This American Diabetes Association recognized program meets for two hours once a week for five weeks. Participants receive individualized meal plans, learn about healthy eating techniques and tips, review the reasons for blood sugar monitoring and how to interpret the results to improve control.
The group meets Tuesdays beginning Sept. 8 and on Nov. 3 at the John C. Lincoln Medical Office Building I in the fourth floor conference room. The cost is $60 and is covered by most insurers. Call 480-323-4800 and press 1 for more information. |
