John C. Lincoln's Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS)

John C. Lincoln's Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) enables images to be acquired, stored, transmitted, retrieved and displayed from a variety of imaging sources. This system also stores and transmits related patient information over a secure network.

PACS uses Fuji's Synapse Web-based application—one of the most sophisticated digital communications systems in the industry. This offers radiologists and referring physicians immediate, secure access to patients' images and image interpretation in their homes and offices.

Not only does PACS afford clinicians access to current studies, the system also enables—within minutes—comparisons to images taken previously at any John C. Lincoln facility.
